Spring Cards

I love Spring so it's easy for me to make cards this time of year.  Flowers and butterflies are the easiest images and embellishments to use on a card.  Here are two cards I made using flowers, butterflies and other embellishments.

I used the side view butterfly image from the Gina K Designs Petals and Wings kit and the greeting is from Gina K Designs Sending Sunshine.  The card stock, Bubble Gum Pink and patterned paper are also from the Petals and Wings kit. I used a Martha Stewart butterfly punch across the middle of the card using Gina K's new Jelly Bean Green card stock.  I colored the butterfly with copic markers and a sakura clear star glitter pen.  I then sponged around the butterfly with Memento Angel Pink ink, stamped some more side view butterflies and added some rhinestone bling.

Now I have a pretty Spring card to send to someone to say Hello.

Here is a soft, calming Sympathy card.  I used the image and sentiment stamps from Gina K Designs Dogwood and Butterfly set.  The card stock and ribbon is Lemon Drop from Gina K also.  The patterned paper is from Pink Paislee, Nantucket.  I then added some pearls above and below the image and a liquid pearl in the center of the flower.

I hope you liked my cards today and there's a lot more to come.....

Thanks for stopping by and make it a crafty kind of day!!!
