Patterned Papers for a Quick Card

Lately I've been making cards with the soft, pastel, springtime colors.  I made a card that still has that soft feel but in a completely different way.  The colors are darker but look soft and with kind of a watercolor effect.  I love patterned paper don't you??

The colors in the paper are kind of hard to see because the flowers have a sheen to them.  I just needed a quick card and patterned papers to the rescue!

The greeting is from Brenda Walton's Garden Flower set, the paper is from SEI.  I cut the greenery from a Martha Stewart vine punch and the flowers, gems and ribbon are from my stash from a local craft store.

I hope you liked my card and have a FABULOUS FRIDAY!

Thank you for stopping by!

I love this particular card Regina. I am forever trying to come up with something simple with my unending supply of patterned papers (I can't seem to stop buying more!)and the notion that you don't need to do anything but display the paper is a revelation to me. DUH!!!! I seem to think one always has to do something fancy, when the paper can really stand alone. Thanks for the epiphany this morning!!

This is a great card, and a terrific idea. I often need a card in a hurry, and this will work well.

I love the CAS look to this card, while at the same time it is very elegant!
