I Brake For The Outdoorsman Collection

Hi everybody!

I have a masculine card to show you this week from I Brake For Stamps called Outdoorsman Collection.  This is such a great stamp for the hunters in your life.  It would make a great birthday card, thank you, hello, etc.  I am using this one to thank someone who helped me and also hunts.

I colored this with Zig Real Brush Markers and sponged the background with Memento Desert Sand Ink.  I added Glossy Accents to the glass parts on the compass, lantern and binoculars.  I used a Tim Holtz die.  I thought this looked masculine and like it was written.  Finished off with glitter enamel dots.

I think this one would be a great addition to your masculine stamp collection.  If you use COUPON CODE SAVE10REGINA, you will receive 10% off your order.

Have I inspired you to make some masculine cards?  This was pretty quick to color, especially with the Zig Markers.  Love how it turned out!  Don't forget your camoflage paper!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

I Brake For Happy New Year Bears

Hi Everybody!

We are almost through the year 2015.  It flew by!  I have heard a lot of people say they did not get a chance this year to make Christmas cards or as many as they wanted to and might send out New Year's Cards.  I am going to do that myself.  I love this New Year Bear by Rick St. Dennis from I Brake For Stamps.  The New Year Bear comes in rubber stamp and digital stamp.  You can order the digital stamp today and have time to color several up and send out first of the year because it will be sent to your email right away.

Use Coupon Code SAVE10REGINA and receive 10% off your order.

I colored him with Zig Real Brush Markers.  I think the end result is very similar to Copics but I could color faster with the Zigs.  I will do a separate blog post on what I think about Zig Markers if there is any interest.

I put some Glossy Accents on the hat, bottle and the Cheers die.  I put Diamond Stickles on the banner and used a Sakura Silver Star metallic pen on the diaper pen.

Have I inspired you to make some New Year's Cards?  I love this idea because people won't expect to get a card after the first of the year.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Christmas Cards I Made This Year

Hi Everybody!

I just want to say Merry Christmas to all of my card making friends.  I did not have as much time as I wanted to make Christmas cards this year so I wanted to post the two types that I did make.

I love this stamp from Crafter's Companion called Let It Snow.  I colored him with Copics.  There is another cute one with Barkley on it called 1st Class Christmas.  This card got a lot of attention on some of my card groups and people were saying they couldn't find it or everyone was out.  I'm not sure how I got so lucky to get both.  I buy a lot of this kind of stuff from a lady on Facebook named, Deb Sclafoni.  I buy stamps and dies from  her and she is fabulous, ships fast.  I buy my Copics from Terri Olsen from Stamps Alive.  She has great prices on markers and refills and ships super fast as well.

How cute is this stamp?  The inside stamp is from I Brake For Stamps called Best Wishes Christmas Tree.

I love the inside stamp because it can be embossed.  I embossed it here in black and have embossed in silver as well.  It's the perfect stamp to say everything you want to say.

I used a Spellbinder's die for the other card that covers the entire card front called Holiday Greetings.

I put different color backgrounds behind the die and different dies inside and some of the punch outs from the die on front, such as here, I used the snowflakes.  These were pretty fast to make.

I have heard many people say they didn't have time this year to make Christmas cards so they were going to make New Year's Cards.  I think that is a fabulous idea because people won't expect to get a card after first of the year.  My post tomorrow will show a New Year's Card......

I hope you have a wonderful holiday!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

I Brake For Snowboarding Bears

Hi Everybody!

I think I am probably finished with the Christmas cards this year so now it's time to move on to the fun winter images.  I am using an image from I Brake For Stamps called Snowboarding Bear, by Rick St. Dennis.  It comes in Rubber Stamp or Digi.  I love that you can get most of the images from I Brake For Stamps in both rubber and digi so if you need an image right away, you can choose the digital image option and have it emailed if you can't wait for the stamp to be mailed.

Use COUPON CODE SAVE10REGINA and receive 10% off your order.

The main difference in the girl bear version and the boy is that I used Zig Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolor paints for the girl and Kuretake Zig Real Brush Markers for the boy.

I did a little bit of sponging with some gray distress ink to give some shadow and depth.  I added glossy accents to the board and goggles to add some shine and dimension.

I hope I inspired you to start thinking about your winter themed cards.  This would make a great image for a boy or girl's birthday that falls during the wintertime.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

I Brake For Pine Spray Frames

Hi everybody!

This week I needed to make a few masculine cards so I thought this stamp from I Brake For Stamps called Pine Spray Frame would be perfect.  I like that you can put any sentiment you want in the frame or even a photo.  Wouldn't a photo be super cute?

Use COUPON CODE SAVE10REGINA and receive 10% off your order.

I colored the stamp with Copics and it really came to life and then I  fussy cut it out.  I used Glossy Accents on the die to give it some shine and dimension and Stickles on the bells, added a few glittered enamel dots and made a great card for women or men.

Did I inspire you to make some masculine Christmas cards?  Try this frame with a sentiment, die or photo.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

I Brake For Frosty and Friends

Hi everybody!

I love snowmen!  I love making cards with them throughout the months of December, January, and February.  I like the stamp I'm using today for the month of December.  It is from I Brake For Stamps and is called, Frosty and Friends.  It comes in rubber stamp and digital image as well.

USE COUPON CODE SAVE10REGINA and receive 10% off your order.

I used Recollections 110# white card stock for the base and Gina K. Designs card stock in Cherry Red.  The patterned paper background is from Echo Park called Dots and Stripes, Christmas Collection.  I colored the image with Copics, the one I used is a digi.  I like digis because I can size them however I want.  I used some white Liquid Pearls to dot the snow flakes, Glossy Accents on the buttons on face and chest and A Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Pen on the hat and scarf to give a subtle sparkle.  I used a Tim Holtz die, Seasons Greetings from the set called Holiday Words Script.  The pine trees are a die from Darice called, Pine Tree Border and I put some Frosted Lace Stickles on those.  I used a round stitched die from Gina Marie Designs.  Her dies are fabulous and they are only $10 for the stackable stitched ones, in every shape.  For the snow, I used flakes called Snow from Papertrey Ink.  I used Glossy Accents for the adhesive, sprinkled the flakes on the glue, shook off excess. I really like the iridescent look.

Did I inspire you to make cards with snowmen on them?  I like how versatile the stamp is.  It can be used for a Merry Christmas type card to a Winter Wonderland card.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
