Everything is Just Fine

I know this isn't card related but I wanted to share that my dog, Barney, is fine.  The Vet did a test of the cells in the lump on his leg and they came back fatty cells.  I was so relieved.  That is really scary because it popped up all of a sudden about the size of a quarter.  One of my other dogs, BamBam, a chocolate lab had one and it turned out to be cancer.  We had it removed and he's okay now.  I appreciate your concern.

I made two cards yesterday and here they are.  Drum roll pleeeeszzzeeee!!!  :)

I'm really enjoying making these soft colored or brightly colored springtime cards.  Aren't you?

The image is from Gina K Designs True Love and the greeting is from GK Garden Silhouettes.  The paper is from SEI and ribbon from GKD.  I embossed the image and greeting in silver to match the papers.  Simple but pretty.  When I don't have a lot of time to make cards, I like making this type of card.

This card looks a little busy and crazy but it was fun to make.  I used a greeting from Gina K Designs set called Smile.  I used her Innocent Pink card stock and Echo Park Springtime paper.  I cut the flowers out of the Spellbinders Daisy Heads and I used the Martha Stewart vines punch for the greenery.  I placed buttons in the center of the flowers and there you go a springtime card with lots of embellishments.

I hope you liked my cards today.  I hope you have a great day and can works some crafts in.  Until tomorrow.....

We have always had labs or the like, and they tend to get those fatty tumors. Our black lab Ebony has one right now about the size of a small egg. Don't like 'em, but they seem to appear anyway. Glad Barney is okay. I love that spellbinder flower die on your card. May have to look into getting one. I'm so partial to flowers.
