More Cards

Yesterday was one of those unproductive days that we all dread.  Between the phone, email, texts, husband and dogs it was difficult to focus and work on my cards.  But guess what?? I worked it in.  I think nothing can keep me from making a card or two everyday no matter what.  Don't you agree?  I made 2 cards and here they are....

This is a clean and simple card that I made using Gina K Designs white and black onyx card stock.  I stamped the background script and then the flowers and greeting on top of that.  All of the stamped items are from Gina K Designs Botanicals stamp set.  The ribbon is from my stash.  I like the way this one turned out.  It has a modern, trendy look to it with the black and white color combo.

On the flip side, I made this pretty Hello card.  A great springtime card to keep in touch with friends or family.  I used Gina K Designs Petals and Wings damask stamp cut out with Spellbinders Label 16, flowers, patterned paper, jelly bean green and white card stock and ribbon came from this kit.  The greeting came from the Gina K Stenciled Spring set.  I couldn't imagine damask and gingham together but I think it looks pretty good.

Well, that's it for today.  I've got to take my dog, Barney, to the Vet today.  A lump suddenly popped up on his back hind leg and I'm concerned about it.  My other dog, a chocolate lab, had a lump similar to Barney's and it was cancer but he's okay now.  I'll let you know what the Vet says tomorrow.

I hope you have a wonderful day!  Make it a crafty day!

I just love the cards, and you do just a good job at describing the process! Thank you for sharing!

Very much love and God's blessings, as you card yourself through the day, Dear!

Hope your furry friend is okay-keep us posted! Love your cards, Regina! Saw the video on STV where Gina showed the technique on the 2nd card - you have done a beautiful job! Just noted in your profile that you live at Lake St. Louis! I have a good friend who is an avid stamper that lives there too! I'll have to connect the two of you :) Hugs...
