I Brake For Beautiful Hair!

Hi everybody!

I've been feeling a little stressed so I decided I needed to color something.  That always relaxes me.  I have to say that I really enjoyed coloring this one.  If you like coloring hair, you will love it.

It is from I Brake For Stamps.  She comes in stamp or digital form.  Her name is Trieste.

I love this stamp because you can color her hair a normal color like I did in browns or can use reds or greens.  Some people like non-traditional colors for Christmas so why not color her hair pink or turquoise?  :)

If you use COUPON CODE SAVE10REGINA, you will receive 10% off your order.

For the inside, I used Tim Holtz dies from the set, Holiday Words Script.  I cut them out using some glitter paper in a pretty white, glitter color.

I colored her with Copic Markers and added Glossy Accents to her lips, Wink of Stella glitter pen on the star and used a Sakura Clear Star glitter pen over the jingle bell on her necklace and accented the ornaments in her hair.

I used Red Hot and Black Onyx card stock from Gina K Designs and the patterned paper is Echo Park, Christmas Cheer by Lori Whitlock.

Did I inspire you to get out your Copics?  Again, Trieste comes in a rubber stamp and a digi.  I really enjoyed coloring her and I know you will too!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

I Brake For Treadmill Freddie

Hi Everybody!

I have a fun card to show you today.  I used a super cute digi from I Brake For Stamps called Treadmill Freddie.  You may remember a card I made a while back with Freddie on Harley.  There are several Freddie digital stamps.  Check them out!  I know most of you have a Scan n Cut by now so digis are no longer an issue with the fussy cutting.  If you use Coupon Code SAVE10REGINA, you will receive 10% off of your order.

I wanted to make someone a motivational card because they have been on a diet and have lost about 10 pounds so far so I wanted to congratulate them with this cute card.

Here's the digi, Treadmill Freddie

How cute is this!!!  I even cut the outside part with my new Scan n Cut!  I haven't played with it enough to figure out how to cut the inside parts so I just used an X-Acto knife for those 3 parts but it was really easy and I went around the edges with a black pen (LOVE this pen - see supplies)

I used a Tim Holtz stencil to make the water/paint splotches to add some interest and a little color.  I colored him with Copics of course.  I used a Die-Versions die at the top of the card.  I love how you can use these style dies and it keeps the sentiment out of the way but is still a large size.  I added some enamel dots, twine, googly eyes and glossy accents on the screen of the treadmill.

Supplies:
  • Recollections 110# white card stock for base
  • Gina K Designs Blue Denim, Red Hot and Turquoise Sea
