Hi everybody! I made a card for a challenge on Gina K Designs to thank our soldiers for their service. It had to be a thank you card and bright colors only. This is what I came up with.
I'm pretty sure the digital image is from Doodle Pantry and the sentiment is computer generated. I used the branches Cuttlebug embossing folder and a Spellbinders die.
I personally do not spend as much time as I should thanking our soldiers. As many cards as I make, I should mail some to the soldiers to send to their families. Many of you probably already do this but if you don't, why don't we make a promise to ourselves to start sharing our love of card making with the soldiers who are separated from their families and would like to send a Happy Birthday, Thinking of You or Hello. Just something to think about......
I hope you're having a great week so far.
Thank you for stopping by and please come back tomorrow!

Your cards will be a giant 'thank you'!! I really love how every step is explained too!
What a wonderful card. The soldiers will love it.
Thank you for doing this for them! I love your card - how you colored the eagle and used those cute brads too! Thanks for the inspiration.
I agree with you about sending handmade cards that are blank inside for the troops to keep in touch with their families - especially to those who don't have any card stores around them. I do this for Operation Write Home and have found they are a wonderful, highly ethical organization run completely by volunteers. They are at www.operationwritehome.org if you are interested in checking them out.
