Ombre' Emboss Resist Technique

Hi Everybody,

I made yet another card from Jennifer McGuire's Ombre' Resist Technique.  The day I watched her video I made about 20 backgrounds so that I would have them for future cards.  I stamped the backgrounds, embossed with white powder and sponged them in different colors.  These can suit any occasion I'm quite sure.  I made one for a male using a leaf background.  This is a great way to blow the dust off those background stamps that are hardly used and use your supplies.

I love this pretty purple color.  I used the Tim Holtz Distress Tool to
give the edges some interest since I wasn't layering this card.

I put the die and sentiment at the top only because I wanted more room to write.
It might've looked better in the center.

I didn't want you to think I post so many of these because I don't know what else to make lol.  I make them because they fit the occasion I need and especially if I don't have a lot of time,
then these pre-made up backgrounds are great.

Here's a link to Jennifer McGuire's video on Ombre' Emboss Resist Technique

Here are some different backgrounds I made one day.

This is the one I made for a male.  He likes red and blue for Ole Miss Rebels football. I use sparkle embossing powder for the female's cards and just used card stock for this die for the male card.

So, all you need are some Tim Holtz Distress Inks, sponge daubers, either background stamps or you can use any stamp and just stamp it all over the card stock to make a background and white embossing powder.

Have Fun!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
