Today I'm going to show you how to make a cupcake liner flower. I apologize for the pictures. It was difficult to get some of the angles that I wanted. I take pictures with my phone but really need to use a camera. The phone is just so convenient.
You will need 5 cupcake liners. Fold the cupcake liner in half. I used the large size because it's all that I had but for a card you would need to use the small or medium sized ones. You're supposed to spray these with Glimmer Mist and sponge the edges. I don't have any Glimmer Mist but it will make these flowers look so pretty.
Fold in the sides of the liner.
Repeat first 2 steps with all 5 liners and glue them together but just at the point of each one.
This is what it will look like after all parts are glued together.
Then fluff up the pockets of each one.
Here's what the finished flower looks like. Just put a button in the center and you're done.
I hope you'll try making this flower and I would love to see your creations using it.
Next, I made the cutest card with Gina K Designs Petals and Wings stamp. The wave stamp is from Stampin' Up. The patterned paper is from Pink Paislee Hometown Summer.
I hope everyone has a fabulous weekend and can make lots and lots of cards. I know I will!
Thanks for stopping by and make it a great day!!!
